Online Communities of Practice represent the best way for you to engage with other learners (and experts) in the IoT field.

Because these professionals have already self-selected into these groups to engage in discussion and further learning, you can be comfortable in knowing that they were once where you are right now: at or near the start of your IoT journey.

When you engage in these communities, we enumerate the following advice:

• Before asking questions of your own, make sure you have done a thorough search of others' posts.
• Collect important posts, questions, and ideas for later. You can do this in any way you like, but we recommend something like Google Keep which will let you grab portions of webpages easily.
• Talk TO PEOPLE rather than ABOUT TECH: Even though you are joining these communities to discuss technology, the people who make up the community are far more valuable than a single resource or tutorial.
